What is the HC Hereditary Cataract ?
The HC genetic disease affects about 8% of dogs in terrier breeds. This genetic disease was discovered in the late 1970s. The first signs of hereditary cataracts appear from a few weeks to a few months then the dog becomes completely blind after one or two years.
