What is PRA pd – Progressive Retinal Atrophy Persian?
The disease declared at 5 weeks old with blindness at 4 monthes.
Symptoms starts with eye movements that are not well coordinate.
Cats that are carriers (N/PRA-pd) have a normal vision even if we can observed changes in retinal pigment epithelium.
